The 2026 edition of the TecHUB Swiss conference, held for the fifth time, brought together around 70 innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts for an inspiring afternoon of learning, networking, and future-forward discussions. Hosted at AWS Zurich on Mythenquai, the event once again fostered connections and sparked meaningful exchanges among like-minded individuals — this time around a question that is moving from theory to practice at remarkable speed.

The conference theme, "Agentic AI & Agentic Commerce: When AI stops being a tool and starts acting," set the stage for a series of thought-provoking presentations, all centered around what changes once software no longer waits for instructions but searches, compares, decides, and buys on its own.

Agenda Highlights

The event began with a warm welcome from the TecHUB president, Luca Solimine, followed by a series of expert-led sessions.

Julia Herz, COO at Dreamleap, opened with the keynote "Who still sells when AI agents do the buying?", showing how agentic AI reshapes e-commerce when autonomous search, comparison, and decision-making move to the machine — and what organisations need to prepare today.

Remo Girard and Konstantinos Konstantelos of LumAIa took the audience along the path from concept to "Agentic Inventory: from idea to MVP", sharing the architectural decisions and the very real implementation hurdles behind a working prototype.

After the break, Marco Kündig, CTO at copebit AG, and René Hämmerli, Founder at Sly AG, went "From Prompt to Purchase: Building Production-Ready AI Agents on AWS AgentCore", combining an introduction to AWS Bedrock AgentCore with architecture, guardrails, and a live look at the VELOX e-commerce platform.

Transformation Coach Martin König closed the programme with "Scale with AI, retain accountability" - a reminder that governance and organisational learning are what turn fast experiments into sustainable capability.

Networking & Collaboration

As always, one of the standout elements of the conference was the ample opportunity for networking and collaboration. Attendees connected during the break and, after the final talk, over an extended networking apéro with food and beverages. These moments allowed participants to engage in lively discussions, exchange ideas, and establish new professional relationships that could help fuel future collaborations.
