TecHUB members met for the annual kickoff workshop to reflect on the past year and align on priorities for the year ahead. Discussions were open, forward-looking, and strongly focused on how TecHUB’s events can deliver greater value to members and the broader community.
The main focus of the workshop was TecHUB’s flagship conference and overall event strategy. Members agreed that the conference should evolve to better reflect the interests and expertise of the community. To support this, members will be actively involved through a survey collecting feedback on format, topics, and guest speakers, ensuring the conference remains relevant and engaging.
A key outcome was the proposed conference theme, “Real World AI.” The emphasis will be on practical applications, real use cases, and tangible business impact, complemented by legal and regulatory perspectives. Hosting the conference at AWS was identified as a strategic goal, with initial discussions already underway.

From an organizational perspective, TecHUB will continue to professionalize event management. Invitations and registrations will be handled via Eventbrite, integrated with HubSpot for structured communication and reminders, while calendar blockers will remain in place to support planning and attendance.
The workshop concluded with a shared understanding that TecHUB’s strength lies in its active and engaged community. By refining the event portfolio, focusing on high-impact topics, and involving members more directly in planning, TecHUB is well positioned for a successful year ahead.
