Our General Meeting 2023 combined with dinner at the amazing Restaurant Haus zum Rüden.

On the 30th of March 2023, the TecHUB members gathered for the general meeting at the venerable "Haus zum Rüden" in Zurich. Members greeted each other with handshakes and started the evening with a delightful standing apéro.
At exactly 6:00 PM, the official part of the meeting commenced with a warm welcome from the president. A roll call was conducted, and it was pleasing to note that nearly all members were in attendance. The agenda proceeded smoothly, with votes on items such as the financial statement and budget being unanimously approved by the present members. The president's annual report and the proposed changes were also addressed without any discussion.
The members showed their appreciation through applause and unanimously reelected the entire existing board. Furthermore, Tabea Mattiazzo was elected as a new board member responsible for events. The members expressed their gratitude towards Tabea for accepting the role, and her election was also unanimous. Additionally, the current auditor, Evangelous, was reelected for another year through another unanimous vote.
The last item on the agenda involved an important change for TecHUB. The discussion revolved around transforming TecHUB's status into a non-profit organization. This adjustment was expected to provide the association with better conditions by utilizing already established software. After addressing inquiries from the members, the proposed changes to the statutes in order to transition to a non-profit organization were unanimously adopted.
With this final vote, the official part of the general meeting concluded, and TecHUB members were invited to enjoy a fine four-course meal. Amidst a cozy atmosphere filled with engaging conversations, the evening slowly came to a close.
