The final festive gathering for TecHUB members in 2023 took place on the last Friday of November, setting a perfect tone for the Christmas and winter season at the renowned Fondue restaurant Chäsälp.
We commenced the event standing in a tent with a heartwarming "Glühwein," punch, or tea. Amidst warm welcome talks and initial exchanges, a delectable tarte flambée was served as an appetizer. Battling the cold wind and winter chill, we eagerly anticipated moving indoors to the restaurant.
Once everyone settled into their seats, conversations deepened, and dinner promptly began. We began with a refreshing salad before indulging in an array of fondues. The offerings included the classic cheese fondue, as well as variations featuring chili and pepper, meat, and chili-infused options. In harmony with the winter ambiance, we observed Zurich's first snowfall of the year through the restaurant's windows. The dinner concluded with a delightful creation of pistachio ice cream and a medley of segmented oranges with cream.
The lively discussions persisted with additional drinks, and, to our knowledge, at least two new partnerships within the TecHUB association were celebrated. Subsequently, the crowd gradually dispersed until the last attendees headed home. It was an evening filled with a fantastic atmosphere. The TecHUB Christmas party provided a fitting conclusion to the club year and a splendid beginning to the Christmas season.
